![]() Last problem is poor optimized physics performance. There is a lot of work to make transparency look right. It lacks Ordered-Independant-Transparency, which means transparency textures will look ugly if object or layer order is incorrect, which is confusing. Although needed for low end systems, it is dated generally because of lower performance since it's not threaded. On top of that, it is unable to use MME since it won't load any graphic API injector on Wine. Gallium Nine glitches on separate window or same window on the viewpoint. You need to download fonts and dependencies to load with Wine. The cons in each are, MMD is not cross platform, and has graphic errors unless if you do separate window. Blender is more for advanced users, even those who are pretty talented for MMD with MME. I don't know if there is raster based rendering to render faster than ray tracing, but several rendering plugins exist. Also, you can control more on the rendering and quality presets. Since Blender is cross platform, it is easier to use MMD assets in Blender on Mac and Linux. That means you can even use MMD models and apply poses and motion data to the model. Last thing is that it will always render mucbfaster than ray tracing since it's all rasterization.īlender has a plugin for loading MMD assets to the program. MMD is a good starting point if you decide to try out the animation. When anyone first use it, it seems simple to do if you just want to use motion data. You can also have MME to use shaders and effects on the scene. It shows basic tools for animation on the program on-screen, like keyframe and model selecting and properties. Well, MikuMikuDance seems more friendly for beginners.
